We receive an order from Saint-Gobain Poland, for the realisation of a pairing station with loading furnace of windshiels. This installation, ordered by our customer Saint Gobain Hanglas Polska on 18/05/2006, is composed of a conveyor, a pairing station, a robot carrying out the loading furnace, an output line for manual loading or unloading.
Socabelec has just made the reception of the installation in its workshop. All will be ready for the putting into service which is shortly expected. La ligne se compose d'un convoyage, d'une station d'appairage, d'un robot de chargement de four et d'une ligne de sortie pour chargement ou déchargement manuel.
We receive an order from AGC Fleurus for a final inspection line.
Once again, the Glass department of Socabelec has received the confidence of a major automotive glass producer to achieve an important and complex glass project. The innovative solution offered by Socabelec and designed to load a furnace with paired glass meets all technical and financial customer's requirements and was choosen before all of its competitors.
With more than 45 robots in use, Socabelec appears as one of the main supplier for the automotive glass industry.
To get more information and received the opportunity to take a close look at a gripper (it will be for show during all the event), please visit Socabelec during Glasstec (Hall 15 A60).
Socabelec was in charge of developing a complete line to automate the exit of an ungassing furnace. The project was really out of the common because of its complexity, its size and the technology Socabelec has to carry out.
This installation is composed of, among others, 4 robots, systems supplying and removing separators, 1 complete device to fix rear-view bases (heating system, vision system, vibrating bowl, robot, pressing device, ...), vision systems equipped with cameras, storage systems, focussing conveyors, turning tables, belt and roller conveyors, all the security equipment (included fences, immaterial barriers, ...), tactil desks, electrical power boxes,...
Furthermore, the deadline was very short according as only 50 days slipped by between the purchase order and the start up.
This installation is nowadays in-service in a Saint-Gobain plant.
To get more information, visit us at Glasstec (Hall 15 A60) where a video will be available.
The engineering department of Socabelec is currently working on an important project ordered in May 2004. The project consists in a windshields assembling line. The first acceptance tests were successfully achieved in our workshop in presence of foreign enginneers. Some elements of the line are consequently ready to be sent in China. In the beginning of next year, an engineer of Socabelec will fly to China to coordinate the assembly of the line. Letter from Walloon government. Just after the visit of Didier Reynders in our buildings.
We have the great honour to welcome Didier Reynders, President of MR and Finance Minister. During this visit, Marco Veri (Managing Director) and Eric Causin (Board of Directors President) have set the company and its strategy. Then the delegation has visited the research unit and the workshops. Finally, watching a video projection related to the latest installations of Socabelec, Didier Reynders has been convinced by the ability of Socabelec to manage large-scale projects internationally.
